Privacy policy

StoryTalkKit is an independent project run by an individual creator. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site or buy a story pack. Questions or requests: hi@storytalkkit.com.

Children's information

The site is intended for adults. We don't offer child accounts and we don't ask for children's names, photos, recordings, diagnoses or school records. Please don't include that information in emails or support messages.

What we collect

We store your account details (name, email, password hash or sign-in provider), orders (account ID, product, amount, payment/refund status and platform references), file access records (account, story, file, version, order and delivery start time), and messages you send us. Our site does not store full card details. There is no separate guest-buyer or email download-token database.

How we use it

We use this information to provide account access, deliver files, support repeat downloads, answer questions, handle refunds and maintain accounting records. Download logs indicate delivery started, not that a file was fully downloaded. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.

Service providers

Payment processing uses Waffo. Account verification and password-reset emails use the configured email provider (Resend). Hosting and storage providers run the site and store files. Only information needed for these services is shared.

Cookies and local storage

Essential cookies maintain your account session and website language. Download language is saved in local storage. Download permission is checked against your account and orders; there are no separate guest download cookies.

How long we keep it

Account sessions have expiry times. Orders and file access records are retained as needed for accounting, support and disputes. You can request deletion of your account and information we do not need to retain.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing hi@storytalkkit.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
